This is a remarkably human sounding post. Just when you think it's all over someone sane pops up. My one comment is that I seriously doubt ZOWAA is anything more than the usual dismal sort of political dancers we produce...the argument that they are "the best we have"...just won't wash any more. You can't take your kid to the "best surgeon we have" if the guy regularly butchers his patients...at some point you have to ask what medical school these fools went to.

There's a sculpture...I guess that's what it is, at the Civic Club in Turlock...same place those two "Winged Dogs" are. I suppose those were the "best we could do"...but I doubt it. The Ashurbanipal Monument proves we can do better...but we didn't know that...or believe it...or even aspire to it until we did. The will has to come first...after that, we Assyrians are as capabale as anyone else...more so...

But you have to INSIST on quality...you have to be willing to FIGHT the Nimrods and Golanis and Bejans and Narsai Davids...if you fight for your beliefs it means you believe in them fiercely. It begins there...not with "All That Talk".
