I agree with you 100% that the westren are dividing our people in any way it fits their evil empire, but my quistion is: where did you get the information about Qamishly and Hasaka were a part of Iraq?

Just to let you know that I'm from Qamishly and I lived there for 28 years of my life and I never ever heared this before.
Our people(the Assyrian,mostly sirian) moved from south of Turky (mardin, mydiat,kharbut, etc)to Syria and builded the two cities and other cities them self between 1920 up to 1945.
At the same time many moved to Iraq(mostly Musel)also other countries. for that reason you see all the similarity(physical looks, habits, taste, and the accent of some of the Iraqis).

ps. my own brother lived all his lif in Iraq(Mosel and Bagdad).
