We've always done this, catered to the dumbest, the silliest, the weakest because they are the most unaware, the least ashamed to actually say the things they do...sort of like taking a peasants advice on how to stage an Opera because only the peasant would complain about all that screaming.

I had to be blocked to make room for this Blockhead.
