And who told you that Christian Assyrians are a pure race?

Christians intermarried with other Christians, there are many examples in Urmia, of marriages between Assyrians and Armenians. In Lebanon marriages between Assyrians and Arameans, and in Egypt, marriages between Assyrians and Copts.

Even ancient Assyrians intermarried with other groups. Assyrian is a nationality it is not a breed. It is similar to being American, and America is a melting pot, where you can't say that one race or religion can be american while another can't be.

Now let's go back to your claim that there are no Assyrian Moslems! Sure some Moslems intermarried with other races as was the case with Assyrian Christians (there are no pure races on this earth, and that includes Assyrians, Arabs, Persians, Turks, and Kurds). However let me tell you about an important Moslem tradition that has been practiced for generation from day one of the birth of that religion, and that is the tradition of a man marrying his cousin, in other words, Assyrians who converted to Islam, and intermarried with their cousins are gentically purer Assyrians than the Christians who did not practice marrying their cousins. And if they want to claim that they are Assyrians, neither you nor anyone else can stop them, even if they want to claim that they are Arabic speaking Assyrians.

You dropped Cuneifom and adopted Aramaic alphabet and language, They dropped Cuneifirm and adopted Arabic alphabet and language. You dropped the worship of Ashur and adopted Christianity, they dropped the worship of Ashur and adopted Islam. You changed and they changed, so what makes you more Assyrian?
