Ok ok ok...
I won't shut up, but I will say this:
Iraq was and still is, for the most part,
an autonomous nation. If the army protecting
Saddam organize and collectively shift their
allegiance from him to someone else, then that
is the end of saddam. Period. No one else can
challenge that.
It is significant that the US made promises
that they didn't keep. It is significant that
other countries are not going in to take out
Saddam and getting this thing over with. But this
problem can only truly be solved by the power
of the people.
And the people will have power when the people
that make up the army shift gears. This is all
that there is to it. It doesn't REALLY matter if
China, America, France, UK, Belgium say this and
didnt do that. The property of sovereignty
is being challenged by increasing globalization,
but it is a property that is intact.
Saddam is retaining sovereignty and his own
people have to seize it. And this begins with
the army, period.
