actually, i usually dress pretty conservatively - i wear long pants (not tight or loose), normal-slightly loose-fitting short or long sleeve t-shirts & button-downs (no cleavage showing - in fact i LOVE turtlenecks), all-terrain running shoes (comfortable!), & glasses. i usually top off my glamorous day attire with my brown hair pulled back in a pony-tail or bun. no make-up, no jewelry, save my watch, & no frills, strapless nothings, etc. i try my best to look as asexual as possible at work b/c i really don't like men staring at me (except for my boyfriend). there are a few girls around here i see in the halls - they dress like they're out to find a mate or a good time for a night or 2... i try to look as frumpy as possible.
but the way i dress is a result of my brief encounters with pedophiles & a date rapist when i was growing up. i even shaved my head once, a few years back, so the boys wouldn't look at me...
so, maybe some see it as "flirting," but i see my writing as sarcastic & marked with wit (esp. playing with words, innuendos)... most of which i learned from my English major girlfriends in undergrad (believe me, English majors just love sexual topics).
so, like i said before: i'm asexual, but very silly. & pancho, that doesn't mean i don't care about you - i do, a lot, like the cool uncle i never had but always wished for.
