It helps maintain sanity to never believe the fanfare. The Medical business gives not a hoot for health or people...we all know that. The technologies they eagerly develop are meant to keep rich people and those with insurance...alive until the next work up.
A $1.50 packet of medicine would save thousands of lives of children dying from severe malnutrition and diaherrea...can NEVER spell that shitty word! Medicine technology, like most things, is a byword for profits...BIG profits. There aint no money in keeping poor kids alive...and a lot of "harm"...especially if they are Black or Muslim, or Asian...unless there is some other sort of profit in them. What would white European men do for child prostitutes if there were no poor kids in the world?
