You cantt sue people just for badmouthing you. If you tell people an artist beats his wife and killed his friend in a brawl...and the information has no impact on his business...no big legal deal...just rumor mongering.
If you say the same thing about a doctor...and his business drops off, which it likely would...and it can be shown that you originated those rumors and not just passed them...then youve got a case.
Homer acted in his capacity as an expert or whatever he is for the AUA Foundation and Library and museum. His actions and words will definitely be a part of the suit, but only as an employee acting under the leadership and at the direction of Nimrod...whose e mails to Detroit worked along the same lines. I want to call them all to appear, though we may have to settle for depositions...but depositions are conducted with lawyers present and every word is taken down and treated at a hearing like sworn testimony...so while you might be spared an actual appearance...you also arent there to salvage whats left of any reputation you might want to keep...as no one will be there to speak up for you etc.
You see, it can be shown that these people knew each other and communicatd about me and what to do...also that they ignored a polite warning from my lawyer...when we said we didnt want to sue at all etc...then they went ahead and made things much worse.
Its the pattern and the interelatedness of all of them...especially as they are all affiliates of the AANF. Any day now.
