We have to stop buying American propaganda...thats all it is. We have to also be careful of what we mean when we say American. The Constitution gave Congress the authority to declare war. Since the Korean War that authority has shifted to the Executive Branch without any legal authorized action to change the Constitution... and presidents have been free to essentially declare any war they wanted so long as no one protested loud enough...and now that the same corporations that own the president own the media...it isnt hard to get the public to support a president when he is protecting our security. As a matter of fact many in Congress know better, but the tide of feeling, the power to manipulate the people is so great now that most Congresspeople are afraid to say what they know...or doubt, for fear the same mob will vote them out of a job...so they go along with the charade and Americans die too and people here are hurt as they are in Korea and Vietnam and Iraq and Afghanistan...and fifty five thousand die in the jungles of Vietnam and five thousand in the jungles of New York...and it matters not at all to the people who have hijacked America as surely as the terrorists allegedly hijacked Islam.
