I urge you to work with your fellow Assyrians not in your hatred towards the Assyrian name but to that essence of knowing that : you are Assyrian yourself regardless. I am Chaldean, Assyrian and Syriac because I know that throughout this epic tale of history these people : intermarried and mixed into one national origin which roam the face of this Earth today. Our plight is only to unite in national terms, can you? and are : you willing is the true question asked........ : It is up to us if we want to fight over name issues and hate each other because we do not agree on various fronts. But one shall not forget that hatred : brings grief and in that same sense, grief brings sorrow and does not allow our people to communicate with each other. Only if our international : community works together on educating our fellow man/woman/child about our history culture and heritage, then it may be possible to achieve : recognition and pride, moreso learning to move forward without attacking each other with foul names. I myself have learned that and respect each and : every name equally from personal experiences as I enrich myself in knowledge. Ask your self what is just, Then try to pertain it to our people who : today have no land to call their own, and are met with hatred everywhere they present themselves. History has taught us that we must not fight and : attack each other but try to work and achieve greatness as setting an example to our children to do the same with their brothers and sister of their : nation and with humanity as a whole. : Coming together is the only way our culture can survive and our children to speak the precious language of our forefathers and our Savior Jesus Christ. : With all due respect for you Mr.Shathaya this post is without any means of a base for an insult or attack on my behalf. The goal is to achieve friendship : and good deeds through workable solutions and actions. I have not been posting here much but have been visiting to see how people are feeling these : days and what are their thoughts. I consider Chaldeans as Assyrians but the question lies in that where if you consider Assyrians as Chaldeans and : Chaldeans as Assyrians without any prejudice to this name issue. Believe it or not our blood is the same, and our vision is the same. Working together : is the only way to bring a process of ideas to form as one.
