One last request for an ambitious optimist? At least warn them before you do it. Give them a day, or a few days... say the end of this week or so... and see if they respond.
Otherwise, cut the string and don't look back... at our community, that is. Go out there. You have it in you... don't fall into the syndrome. I'm talking about selling your art.... of course I wouldn't want you to give up on the factory idea or anything... just find a new audience for your artwork. Maybe you can find someone to pay for re-casting of all of those sculptures in the Basement of the Library and re-donate them to Northwestern??
I know that whether you are dealing with our community, or with people out there... that your theme and your art will mostly reflect our heritage. I really do like your pieces with the skeletons and adam and eve, though... there's always room for a little "non-Assyrian" artwork. Of course, your Assyrian themed sculptures are amazing... but I didn't need to say that.
