Jezus H Christ, what did Babylon ever do to Jeremiah? Who does he think took them away to Finishing school, free of charge? Who taught them to stop eating each other? Who gave them the literature and wisdom they would later sell back to us...after the Medes made a howling wilderness of us?
Go dig anywhere in Jeremiahs old land and see what you find besides the fragments of an Israeli pot to piss in. Go to Babylon and dig a spade down and see what riches of CULTURE and refinement you`ll find.
I still say it...any one of us who believes in this book is divided against him or herself...how could it be otherwise?
