Sometimes that happens on my computer.
Try hitting "ctrl-a" (that is, hold down the ctrl key and hit a). That combination of keys is equal to "select all". After you have selected all, scroll up and see if the words are there. If not, I'll try something else.
Be careful... when everything is selected, if you hit any key all of your text will disappear. Be sure to click "off" so as to unselect everything AFTER you selected all... hope this makes some sense to you.
