An old philosopher once said, "Fill your stomach before talking about philosophy."
Another saying is to "put your own house in order."
Of course we should help others but how are we supposed to do that when our children are starving to death?
If you consider the people of Iraq our people then let's first get OUR house in order before we help clean another person's house.
What you're doing is instilling the type of frustration that will delay people doing anything at all by stating that we should be solving the entire world's problems at the same time we solve ours.
I hope you understand.
