tears are fine & so is the process of overcoming those tears & questioning their merits. however, only a machine would be unable to cry, in my opinion. when one mocks tears, just as when one mocks bravery or any other characteristic, one also mocks humanness. i have NOTHING against what is natural to a person. & i will be the LAST person to tell someone they should NOT cry, just i will be the last person to tell someone they OUGHT to cry.

everyone's different (perhaps that is merely a bromide, but that is the way that i look at it).
