my "physiological" hypothesis for populations of children, subject to trauma on a regular basis, having increased risk of psychological &/or mental developmental abnormalities is not an excuse to CRY, but a reason to stop traumatizing them. obviously modern medicine doesn't work perfectly for so many reasons. so the best thing to do is to work at the root of the problem...
this is a "medical" or "scientific" reason to use against Bush to stop this disgusting "war" on terror (it's not EVEN a war; Congress never declared war in this case) & to lift the sanctions on Iraq that are affecting so many children in so many ways. every time he wants to bomb, we know the outcome is not merely trauma & future psychological "issues," but even mental developmental shortcomings that can be irreparable & ultimately detrimental to the long-term physical health of so many individuals in the affected, bombed population. he is willing the handicapping, the deaths (on many levels) of so many people in more ways than the obvious.
