Why would any Muslim or non Christian Assyrian admit to an Assyrian identity "requirement" that Peter and others put forth, which has as its cornerstone that they MUST renounce their own religions first and adopt Christianity?
This is cute and clever on the part of those who use this non point point to make the point that only THEY can be real Assyrians because THEY are Christians...even if they don't do the church thing themselves...still they equate Christian Assyrian Culture with the ONLY legitimate Assyrian culture there can ever be. Clever ain't smart.
