I cherish the idea of merits WITHOUT following the American idea of obesessed over-achieving.
I take "contribution" in the widest sense of anthing which is helthy for the mankind beyond one's immediate ego or group ego or nationalist herd ego or.. or.. or..
+++ The French savour vivre and Tahitian relaxedness can help a dry, duty dirven German a lot to find back to himselh/herself.
We simply should learn to see qualities of other peoples as complementing our own.
+++ Just therefor I am interested in the Assyrian qualities or contributions or whatever you name it.
+++ Out of real interest. Not out of any sort of tacit lecturing or admonition or "wholier than thou" attittude.
