Ron is a good guy...though he doesn´t say so. He´s a good surgeon, which he does say. And I´m sure he is. I still owe him a sculpture, and he´ll get it. He has a few already. It isn´t his fault he believes in lobbying Congress...seems to work for others, why not us? The problem is what we can afford...the little we can hope to get in return for the little we give. Assyrians, especially fat-headed ones, are very easy to flatter. Let them into a Congressman´s office and they fairly glow. To us $100,000 is BIG BUCKS. To a politician it´s pocket change, they´ll accept it gladly because aside from reaching out to take the envelope...across the desk in their office where we were allowed in to make the delivery...they don´t have to do much else. Just getting in there was enough for us.

Most politicians are whores...they have to be the way system is set up...just as millions of women have to sell themselves because that´s the way THAT system is. While twenty bucks will get us a blow job...it wont get us love or a country. Some of us just can´t manage to get blown upon too often...so a twenty dollar politician will have to do.

Those of us fortunate enough to be in love don´t pay for it...and don´t need a country either. All the world´s the backseat of a 49 Chevy to us.
