Of course religions kill people. Do you get paid by the fantasy? The church merely turned the poor bastard over to the secular arm...and THEY did the religion's dirty work for them.
Your own pope apologized for the church's teachings all those centuries when they spoke about the Jews killing Jesus, when the Romans nailed the nails...then turned "Christian"...which also tells you of the real uses of Christianity.
The Church fathers were split about what to do with the Jews...exterminate them outright for denying Jesus and "killing" him...or should they be kept around, separated in ghettos to be tortured periodically to make those who accepted Jesus feel superior, also remind them what lies in store for those who refuse to buy Jesus...cause he "saves".
The Germans are Christians...the Nazi leadership were all raised in the Catholic Church...the Obersomething fesitval annually celebrated the life of Christ...ending with his crucifixtion at the insistence of the Jews and was only curbed in the 60's...I believe.
