****Been there, done that. On Juan AND Juana's trucks. It was a bumpier ride than I expected but I could handle it. You don't get more rural than the outskirts of Nogales.
or you can hang out on the hilltop and watch the valley below...gorgeous sunsets guaranteed. Holy Water on the rocks with a twist.

****DAMMIT MAN! I told you this wasn't a conversion trip, it was an IMMERSION trip. THe trip can best be described as a pilgrimage. Nogales felt like a holy site minus the crosses and giant black boxes. Every moment spent there was full of the diversity of the border culture. And every moment spent with the families that we stayed with on the border was full of a lot of laughter and happiness. No prozac needed.
