1. I saw a very great sign - one of many clever ones - at the televised DC anti-war rally today. It read: ALTERNATIVE ENERGY, NOT WAR

2. Elton John and Billy Joel are coming to the Palace of Auburn Hills (, Michigan)... I was just about to buy a ticket when I realized that they cost $195. Holy shit!!! Has this country gone to hell?

Billy Joel may be one of my favorite artists, but I just don't have that kind of money. Hot damn.
