: Do you guys think that Bush might just be using this aggresive war talk as intimidation? Maybe this is a way to have Saddam crumble on his own without actually taking action?
++++Either way it's a win win...although an actuall war will make things worse in the long run...but he'll be gone by then.
+++The Repubs and Dems are most worried about us finding out just how they run this country...how corporations write the legislation. Obviously Saddam is no threat and obviously this government isn't interested in justice or fair play when its own citizens are on the streets in increasing numbers...schools are woefully underfunded and there isn't any basic health care for millions of people.
+++Schools are free in Iraq...there are no homeless...and health care is free for everybody...obviously Saddam knows something Bush doesn't...or doesn't want to implement because it would cost the corporate boys too much.
+++The Commie Scare was a diversion...so is this Terorist bullshit...especially the notion that Saddam is any kind of a threat.
+++Bush could care less about brutal tyrants...in Korea, Iraq or anywhere else. What he DOES worry about is how to damage the Constitution, rig the courts and gut regulatory commissions...that's the real BUSINESS agenda...Saddam is the smokescreen behind which they can do these things...who's gonna challenge them now and be labelled "unpatriotic"?
+++We're all caught up with these war stories and missle scares and chemical and biological scares, and have been fed a steady diet for over a year now...the real issues aren't even near the table any longer.
