Jesus said the poor would always be with us. If you distributed all the wealth in the world fairly among all people..in a matter of time we'd have the same alignment...the poor would lose theirs...the rich would gain it all...you'd have the same break-down again.
People are not equal...neither are animals...struggle and winners and losers are part of the game. That doesn't mean we can't have a more equitable distribution...but to organize and protest in the present system is like wiping out distinctions and throwing open First Class on the Titanic. Something else is going on here...that supercedes organizing and protesting.
The System itself may be predicated on inequality and near-slavery so that there IS no way to fine tune it...like you can't "improve" a situation that is situationally(?) destructive.
