: xxx I think that IT IS NOT EASY FOR "the system" to change. It resists change or CIRCUMSTANCES AREN'T conducive to change - I can't determine which case is true, or perhaps it is the case that there is an interplay between the desire to change & the energy it takes to change. Anyway, I think "the system" will continue until it breaks or someone monkeys with it a bit & it changes. If it is the case that those people who like "the system" or who allow it to continue do NOT want to change it BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS ADVANTAGEOUS FOR THEM, then they will fight change. In that case, change has to be forced (not necessarily through violence), & the people who are trying to affect change will have an advantage by keeping their strategies to themselves.
xxx Having a formula for change is exactly what "the system" wants, because then those who are in control of things know how to continue reaping benefits, even during or after the change. & then, what kind of *real* change have you brought about?
xxx Anyway, I like to think in terms of evolutionary (for lack of a better word) change. "The system" has not affected everyone equally or the same, & so some people are better able to see what changes can be made so that "the system" becomes more humane. Not everyone who has been taken advantage of will do the same to other people, & sometimes those who've experienced bad things will want to change things for the better, will want to break a destructive cycle that they were thrown into to begin with. Anyway, I hope I clarified my previous statement enough, because I have to get back to lab work now.
