I thought so. 'The French newspaper Le Nouvel Observateur wrote yesterday that such new democracies as the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary, which have been supportive of Washington's policies, were quickly becoming America's "Trojan horses" on the continent' (from Boston Globe, 1/30/2003).

The U.S. is probably promising things to the former USSR republics & satellites. I can't believe that they're falling for it. Bush is temporary - promises he makes are subject to change once he leaves office...
