I STILL can't get over those people standing around in the rain & cold for a couple of hours just to protest! They are WONDERFUL! I can't believe those veterans, either - most of them looked really raggedy & tired, but they stood out there in the rain & cold, making their statement & giving away anti-war signs (which cost a bit to make) because they care so damn much, even about the assholes in their SUVs driving by & yelling at them... even after their own gov't has used them up & spit them out for the direct profit of their (the U.S. government's) rich benefactors or to make "strategic" plays on the world empire for the profit of their rich (or otherwise) benefactors. It is heartbreaking, really, but incredibly beautiful & amazing. There are so many wonderful people around here!
