Hi Saide. Well, it is a small pick up truck, and I don't like the fact that I drive one:) But I got it for its price and because of the way people drive around here. Its a small Mazda pickup truck. As for my interest in mideast/assyrian politics- I am interested. However, it is not just politics of that region, but of the entire world. I have been involved with people from many different political issues around the world through my life, so it is more inevitable than anything to be sucked into them as well occasionally, and to keep up with them. After all, I believe it is politics around the world that govern society, not entertainment or other similar things. To not be aware of world politics, to me, is to be blind to the world. I can quickly list a number of different geographic areas with which I have been in touch with the political issues of the region. I'll just name a few and rather than specifying which race or tribe, etc, I will just list the nations they relate to:
India, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Malta, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, United States, Panama, Costa Rica, Japan, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, etc, etc. These are the majority. Needless to say, to not be somewhat taken in by some of their respective politcal and cultural environments would be kind of unrealistic. I don't believe their is a line to cross from one culture to another. I find that people who think a culture is different from theirs and are therefore "estranged" from that culture are really just unfamiliar with that particular culture. We all have our ways of doing things, and there is no clear line dividing that. The only clear line is unfamiliarity. But enough about that, I suppose. And what's so strange about a small pick up truck anyway?:)

: Oh...
: You know, I was really beginning to question whether or not you were "Assyrian" when you mentioned that you drive a white Mazda pickup truck... :) How many Assyrians would drive a pickup truck?... Well, except for my dad... But my dad's eccentric.
: That's cool that you have an interest in Assyrian &/or Mid Eastern politics!
