I´m at work on ten or so portraits of Latin personalities...Fidel and Che among them. My lawyer down here has the first bust, of Don Quixote, in her office. I´m just finishing up Zapata now...Frida is next. I´ve got a lady with a gallery on the main square wanting badly to do a show for me...have to go find a good foundry...and I want to take the show south...and I´d love to take it to Cuba.
I figure the sooner we all start behaving like citizens of this planet and not warring tribes who have no concern for the rest of it...the better off we´ll all be. Down here they respect artists who actually have titles for their works...not, "Untitled No. 654"...like if you don´t know what you´re doing why should anyone else care.
