Was just listening to BBC world news until I couldn't take it anymore. The images of those POWs, forced to do as those horrid troops order them at gunpoint, keep flashing back to me. I feel very sad... hopeless. BBC was reporting that hundreds of people are flooding the hospitals in Baghdad right now.... So many lives disrupted & wasted, for what? Even seeing those "coalition" troops bring down that statue of Saddam on the Reuters video made me angry. That is a project for the people of Iraq (if they want to destroy that statue), not the occupying entity, if the occupying entity is truly in it for the good of all Iraqis - why should the "coalition" troops be telling Iraqis what to think, how to act, & what is good for them?... Am I making sense? It's late, & I am unable to sleep, so I may not sound too coherent right now.... May this end soon.... Right now is not soon enough....
