Thee is no reliable information at times like these, not because of chaos, but because of conflicting factions. In other words, whether Iraqis retreated or not, whether they decide to put up another stand or not, whether a new government, albeit a puppet one, is formed or not- all these will be covered in a haze, all because the real moves are hidden by milder actions so as to avoid the truth of matters getting out. The real actions taking place will dictate what happens in the future: whether the Iraqi government fights back, which it will- once the US makes a push north, which I believe the US will try to put off for as long as possible so long as they have a temporary "foot hold" on small portions of Baghdad. We must not be easily swayed by news, because now the news is irrelevant. They cannot dig out the deep information, only "gossip" and "background noise." I have not watched any news at all, only what I can get from some mideastern countries, although their news is uninformative as well. I know this is a jarbbled post, and sorry for whatever difficulties you have reading it, but what I am trying to say is that the news you get from just about anywhere is useless, it barely scratches the surface of what is really happening. It is a time to sit back and watch patiently, there is a war going on, as much as the US and other countries might like to think that it's over so they can carry on with their policies.
