: Anyway, some day we will establish a committee, an effective one that is, that will be responsible for getting our artifacts back in our homeland & then tagging them all with GPS chips that will be impossible to remove. Until then, be patient with the desperate. They are only doing this because they have very few other means to live right now.

xxx Make that "GPS-like" chips.... GPS was created for the US military, even though it's being put in cell phones & cars now-a-days. So, if another nation was to create some technology similar to GPS, which can't be monitored by the U.S. government & which could be used within that nation, THAT would be optimal. & it's not as if monitoring the locations of artifacts or other works of art that belong to a *nation* is invading anyone's privacy, since those artifacts or works of art would be housed in national museums. GPS monitoring of artifacts or works of art would be just another form of security for objects that could potentially be stolen, moved from one location to another illegally.

Am I making sense?
