Washington has been harboring ex-Iranians who claim government positions in Iran, and are always lobbying in Washington for the US to take action against the government of Iran. I have spoken with one relative of such Iranians, and she is always waiting for the day that the US plans the Iranian takeover. This has been in the brewing for many years now, the same happens with the ex-Cubans in Miami and Washington as well who are pushing for an attack against Cuba. The Iraqi equivalent to these groups is the IO and some of the other factions vying for control of Iraq.
