My English major friends would have a *ball* (pun intended) with that translation, trying to figure out all the perverse things that Kubatum is REALLY trying to say & for whom the poem is REALLY meant (someone Kubatum must have known).

On another note: why is it "opposites" that unite? Why not "complements" that form a union? I think the word "opposite" removes man further from woman & woman further from man....
