I bought a book at an airport shop a while ago...titled, "The Gifts Of The Jews"...written by an Irishman no less...or at least the name was Irish. What a bunch of crap...according to this author AND historian, people were living wild and empty lives till the Jews came along and invented Humanity! Singlehandedly. I mean give us all a break! But whose fault is it?
I think the Moses story reflects the birth story of Sargon The Great. As far as David is concerned, apparently he wasn't the one to kill Goliath...his brother did it and not with a sling either but with a weaver's beam...whatever that is.
See...nothing on earth needs more careful dissecting than the bible...more nasty crap has emmanated from that book than from anywhere else...and none has done more harm too.
The very idea that the Hebrews gave ANYTHING of value from that book of theirs is ludicrous...unless you buy their "Greatest Story Ever Told"...that the people they were surrounded by were sensuous savages and blood suckers. Who was more uselessly bloody than the Jews AND their god? Who?
It's no "mystery" that the Dead Sea Scrolls are still locked away and only were made public by accident, or that so many thousands of cuneiform tablets remain locked away...too full of silly and boring "commercial documents"...like the bible isn't rife with tedious shit...remember that when Layard made his initial discoveries....when the Flood Epic was uncovered and shown to be much older (how the hell is that stream of warm piss, the Jordan River EVER going to flood?), it caused much wonder and consternation in Europe, especially among the clergy and the keepers of everyone's balls. What if the bible was shown to be taken from other sources??? Well never fear...the crap in it, especially the blood and guts, is pure Hebrew...not Assyrian, Sumerian, Akkadian, Egyptian OR Greek. The morals, the reverence and the poetry was OURS baby!
