: Anyone in undergrad or grad school interested in reducing that registration fee, feel free to write AANF like I did. The more people who write, the more likely someone will listen. Nadia is the person they list as responsible for registration questions.

: Shlama Nadia,
: I am a graduate student at ____________ University, & I am interested in attending the AANF annual convention this year. I am wondering if the AANF would offer reduced fees ($50, instead of $100) for advanced/early bird registration to students like me, college-aged & graduate students who are barely getting by on their own, financially. I & many of my friends are already spending a considerable amount of money on a hotel room & airfare, not to mention food & any other living expenses, in order to attend the convention. Many other institutions will offer large discounts for college students who attend functions hosted by those institutions. So, I am curious if AANF would consider offering, likewise, a sizeable discount for undergraduate and graduate students who are giving up valuable time at work or school for an otherwise expensive visit to Chicago for an AANF function. For instance, I know that $100 can purchase 2 weeks worth of groceries for me. So, $50 can go a long way, & saving that money can mean a week's worth of food for a financially strapped student.
:
: Anyway, I hope everything is well for you and the rest of the convention planners. I also hope that you will take my concern seriously. Thank you so much for your time. Take care!
: Sincerely,
: ______________
