Assyrians are not majority of Iraqs ancestors, its a mixture of Amorites, amoreans, sumerian ethnic groups, chaldeans, mandaens, other southern ethnic groups, arabs, mongols, turks, turkimans(which might have once called themselves assyrian), akkadian non-assyrians(yes, they exist, although they call themselves plain assyrians usually), kurds, gutians, elamites, and on and on and on and on, so I do not think assyrians have much more claim to Iraq than saddam hussein, who is himself part amorite, like khmaruabi, or better known as Hamurabi. Thus, assyrians may be numerous, but share the land with numerous other races, and although they may call themselves arab, they are not.
