Itīs still almost impossible to cast copper. Beat it, pound it, shape it...yes. But melt and cast it...damn difficult and hardly ever even attempted. Yet thereīs a life-size female figure from way back when thatīs pure copper and was cast. How they did it...who knows.
But...when you consider what art supplies exist today...and the awful use most of them are put to...and you consider what they made...and what they had in the way of supplies...you realize where artistry comes from...itīs the PEOPLE...stupid!
Not you, Sadie...you arenīt stupid...just built along peculiar lines.
