+++ So, back again: Ashur himself destroyed Niniveh and "Assyrianism" ... LONG before Christianity had emerged.

+++ There must have been something deeply wrong and self-destructive with that ancient "Assyrianism" which is reflected in today's "Assyrians'" incompetence, shallow pride and tribalism which you can't blame on Christianity - how ever desperate you want to do it.
