***Well they leaned back to Mexico...if they ever went to Canada. When you get tight with Reynolds you find yourself playing at "fugitive" and "most unwanted". I knew they were gone but I think they took Halley, Reynolds other daughter, to New Mexico, to her sisters. She was fed up with their lifestyle long ago and I hear Lew beat her up recently...not surprised.

***Kit is the wife of Luis Fartman...the people I bought my house half from...or from half. The family has indeed gone back. And I did spend 12 hours in jail waiting to be bailed out. But only the one time. I don´t know what she´s refering to. And that only happened because I told the truth about the broken fences. There were no witnesses...I could have lied about and it would have gone nowhere...like the other 12 charges they brought. But I figured I did it and I should pay for the repairs...then do it again. There was aglitch between my lawyer and I. The way ity works here if you owe a fine you have to go pay it immediately and bring the judge proof, or else you get picked up until you pay. I didn´t know this and so they got me on the way into town...very friendly, they were all pals from the many trips I ´d taken up there to answer their stupid charges...one of them was also bodyguard to the Consular Agent...drove us to the DA way back when this all started to explain about Reynolds. All in all it was an experience...not sorry at all.
***There is no trial about the fences and gates...I paid the damages and that was it. If she´s referring to the dead horse...I´ve been to every session the judge has called...they´re the ones who are hiding and haven´t shown up, as they´re supposed to do...and there´s a surprise waiting for them...hehehehehe.
***All of them know I supplied the money to buy the horses...Robert has even given testimony that Lew agreed to pay me back...they all know it and they all know they´re helping Lew steal my horses. They were pinning their hopes on this silly charge going through...only the judge saw no merit in it and refused to issue an arrest warrant. They were drooling because horse stealing is a serious charge here and if the jusge feels there´s enough eviodence to warrant a trial...you get arrested and spend at least a year in jail while the trial process drags on and if convicted you could sit in jail for ten years.
***There was never any doubt in anyone´s mind, anyone with one, that I hadn´t stolen any horses and not only because they were mine anyway...but because I only took them in when the rest of them ran away and lefty them without food or water. I handed them back as soon as they found some guys to take on the power of attorney for the Rider of Purple Prose...who´s been in hiding for months now...like any hero.
***Anyway, when the charge was sent on to the judge...she promptly tossed it out and the Ministerio, which has three days to appeal it to a higher court, didn´t bother. I didn´t steal any horses...I would have been the strangest horse theif in history.

***That was a real laugher. The four of them actually went and charged me with waving a gun at them. Having a handgun in Mexico send you straight to jail, as it should. Now, what would I be doing "waving" one in broad daylight for? Why...to advertise the fact that I wanted to go to jail? If I was going to use one on them wouldn´t it have been better to shoot one of them on the sly...without first broadcasting the fact that I HAD A GUN? Honestly...there are Western Movies and then there are Western Movies...I don´t know which ones these people grew up on...but if I had a gun illegally, I sure as hell wouldn´t pull it out to "wave"...especially at these nuts whop wore out a groove in the pavement up at the DA´s office. That charge was dumped...like the others....even though FOUR of them...each one more believable than the other, were "winessess"...and it never once dawned on them that something was wrong here...Mickey...like no one was buying any of their stories...sworn testimony and all.
We're still hoping they'll deport him.

The local Head of Migracion told me I was as clean as could be...all my papers in order and banck statements validated etc. Immigration is only interested in you if you are here illegally...if you´re an axe murderer, but your papers are in order, they don´t touch you...that´s a job for the police...but try making sense to these people.
