Sometimes, I get so angry.... Imagine you are on a ship, & you are doing your job to keep it afloat but some idiot thinks he can get away with slacking off.... As a consequence, something goes wrong in his side of the ship, yet EVERYONE suffers, because the ship starts to sink.... THIS is how I feel.
Those "leaders" who are not honest &/or intelligent (I mean, in a practical sort of way, not necessarily "book-smart") in some part of the world will eventually become a liability for the rest of the world. The world will eventually come to feel the effects of what people think of as "local" problems, because the world is essentially a closed system. Nothing escapes it, & if a man doesn't feel the effects of his own horrible actions now, his children & future generations will certainly suffer for HIS actions. I hate the way our "leaders" think in quarterly returns, just as the corporate big-wigs.... Life & nature do not revolve around quarterly returns.... I don't want my children or anyone's children to suffer for some jerk's decision today. Life is hard enough as it is.... & all these people do is complicate it for everyone, esp. those who are most innocent &, therefore, least prepared to take on these complications.
Whatever happened to wisdom? Why does no one cherish it today?
