: Sounds like the third try to make a dairy substitute...and give it another shot.
xxx The more I think about it, his work perfectly captures adolescent narcissistic autoerotism/self-exploration... which ends up manifesting itself as & feeding into his homoeroticism. & the cars: the masonic ritual dance that starts out as a mechanical ballet turns into a general pummeling of every car, after the 1st car has been destroyed - like the anarchy one sees in American football sometimes. The maypole dance is perfectly symmetrical & performed exclusively by males.... The loss of teeth (I suppose baby teeth), anal fixation, & phallus formation, all occur in one scene, aided or forced along by men in black, like a cruel rite of passage....
xxx It's interesting, in some ways. But you're right - some men try so hard to compensate for their inadequacies.... What else are these ridiculous rituals for? The woman with the leg prostheses, Aimee Mullins, is breathtakingly beautiful, & makes up for some of the ridiculous things in the film. I can't tell if she represents his mother or a future love or both (a Freudian cliche).
