You know very well that this statement isn't true and an offspring which is even partially muslim,and according to the islamic shariaa should be raised as muslim.
So,the statement they will choose whatever religion they want or none at all doesn't cover the situation.
People talk about religion as if it's an easy matter,and may be these days many Chrisrians look at religion as something from the past and therefore they could careless.Ofcourse every one is entitled to her/his opinion and for a good reason that the church is also at fault for letting people become aloof,that's on one hand,but on the other we see that there are people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for their religion even if the teachings of that religion are wrong,but they do it any way because they believe in certain idea.
The same goes for us since we have converted to Christianity,why should we be asked to change or to let go of our beliefs even if it's an Assyrian who is of any other religion ...
As for clarification I can tell you this the person whom I used to read his written thougts doesn't seem to be there any more.
