Tell me, once & for all, what the big deal is. What is the lesson? It's nothing. So what if someone says the words "boyfriend" or "girlfriend," "wife" or "husband," or "lover"? You mention your wife sometimes - do I make a big fat deal about you doing so, or that you've had more than one wife in your life?
