Always competing with other neighbors for territory, like the Crimea in Georgia(which now lies in Ukrainian territory) and with land in Turkey. Turkey is uneasy with this cumbersome and annoying neighbor, since they are not too interested in land gains in the north. The Black Sea issues don't help any with their tensions.
