I saw it a few weeks ago here in Nashville at an independent theater. Check for it in your neighborhood - it's finally here in the States, though my friends saw it in the spring in Belgium. It was good, for the most part - I esp. liked:
Makhmalbaf's (Afghani refugee children living on the Afghani/Iranian border who don't know what a "tower" is & who help their parents to build a bomb shelter to protect them against an upcoming American attack on Afghanistan),
Ouedraogo's (school children in Africa fantasizing about the reward money for capturing Osama being used toward treatment of their friends & parents' affected with HIV/AIDS),
Penn's (an elderly widower who acts as if his wife is still alive & who's only companion is a withered pot of flowers who magically come to life once the towers have fallen & no longer create a shadow that deprives the flowers of light),
Chahine's (a movie director explaining to an American soldier why the fall of the towers, though significant, is something similar to what people in the Mid East under constant Israeli threat experience everyday), &
Loach's (which asks why the events in Chile of September 11, 1973, though U.S. government-sponsored are forgotten by Americans, though a Chilean exile feels the same pain as the Americans on their September 11) films.
