Three in a desert

There are three men in a desert, one is Nigerian, one is Libyan, and the other is Assyrian. Well, they each had one item with them, that they could use in the desert. The Nigerian had a bottle of water. The Libyan had a box of sandwhiches. And the Assyrian had a car door. Well, when asked why they chose the item they brought to the desert, the Nigerian replied "Well, so when I get thirsty I can drink from my bottle of water." Then the Libyan replied, "Well, I can eat if I get hungry" Then the Assyrian replied "Well, if it gets too hot, I can open the cardoor window."
