: Hi Jeff....
: I just forwarded the post to my dad. I just want his feedback on it more than anything else. I just read my dad's speech...first line in the talk:
: "First of all, I would like to thank the organizing committee for allowing
: me this opportunity to put before you the tragic situation of our
: Assyrian people, known by various religious designations and names such
: as Chaldean, Jacobite, Nestorian, Chaldo-Assyrian and Syriac."
: And you're totally right about these extremists.
: Jeff, what are you plans for the summer? Are you in school?

That's just one example of many where Ghassan Hanna has been caught in a lie. I'm sure that your father's speech was amazing.
Let me give you another example of his lies: Janey Golani used to work at the Chaldean Federation of America as the "Executive Director". I HAVE her business card which states as such, and I was there several times in her office. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that she WAS the executive director.
Ghassan posted on his site that she was a secretary who didn't do any work, and I retorted that not only was she not a secretary, but that she was responsible for putting on the annual CFA dinner last year which raised them a significant amount of money, and it was a complete success. In other words, I caught him in another lie.
He banned me from the forum for defending her.
**** About the summer, I'm technically not "in" school but I am working "at" school.
During the year I work part time in the computer lab, fixing the computers and doing other techno-nerdy things. In the summer, I work at school doing the same, only for more hours.
Now, I regret not going to that Iraq conference. It would have been worth it just to hear your father's speech.
