if I tell a story about my life, you think I'm bragging? I'm not - I don't intend to sound like I am. I only brought up my past because it seemed relevant - like giving reasons to young girls why parties & sex aren't all that people make them out to be. I mean, there's something that could actually help girls out - these things aren't as glamorous as the girlie mags or media or Hollywood make them out to be. Most of it's hype. I really don't think that many girls in high school realize that. But then also, I think it's good for girls to experiment a bit - not in a life-threatening way - but to realize that there's a lot of negative hype about other things, taboo things. For instance, I believe that alcohol & pot are NOT bad for you if done in moderation & minimally, respectively. & kissing other girls does NOT mean you are a lesbian, just as kissing anyone does NOT have to be sexual. & if you tell people these things are a "no-no," then it's sort of an unfair demonization of things that *can* be perfectly harmless, given the appropriate context.
I'm not bragging about who I've "had" or whatever, just telling what I've experienced as honestly as I can - just like you do. Do I accuse you of bragging whenever you tell us something about your past?
