: That's like the Chinese kid what was the big deal with chopsticks. I hate to ruin it for you, but not everything sprang fully grown from your head.
+++ Only my nose.
: Citizen kane was a big deal in its day because it broke ground you're used to puking on. But it was new stuff once. Things like atmosphere and mood, camera angles and editing...not to mention story etc. Look at the films before, and then se the changes later and you might understand.
+++ Preddy... oh Preddy, Did you not detect the sarcasm in my words? Why do you suppose we spent so much time watching and studying Citizen Kane..in film studies class, no less?
+++That class was probably one of the most important and interesting topics that I touched upon in high school. Who would have thought that Singing in the Rain and Alice in Wonderland were such great movies?
+++But, there's one thing that you mentioned that we did NOT learn in class... we learned about the meaning of Rosebud only in the context of the movie... not any other interpretation. Very interesting.
: Whippersnapper.
+++ Qusser Qutt.
: Rosebud was actually Hearst's name for Marion Davies' clit. Kinda cute. It was only a sled in the movie. In real life...well, never mind...one amusement park a month is enough for you.
++++++++ Be nice... or I'll sue you!
